Picos

This ring was made from scratch by my fiancé, Louis.

The idea is to use it as a base for our wedding rings. The ring was made first in silver, then I sculpted on it to have a design where we both worked on, to finally have it in gold. (You can follow the result on my instagram page).

The texture of the ring reminds me the Picos of Europa, a mountains chain from the north of Spain. 

I used the opportunity of the texture to have the ring black. The jewellery will keep its dark colour thanks to its relief. We call it patina. It's an oxidation process.
