Mute is the name of a significant place for me. 
A place where I used to go during my childhood and to which I recently returned. 

"The sound of water recedes over the pebbles, revealing the scent of iodine.
Our skin darkens and tightens in the heat. Our eyes are dazzled, our lips salty.
Hands caress the rock and our bodies pause. Think and feel."

My gaze was lost in the choppy water as I watched the dancing foam. I was absorbed by this force that grew stronger with every passing minute. The sounds and scents unique to this place awakened memories and emotions that I had buried deep inside. Wandering through these abandoned landscapes, the songs of my adolescence came flooding back.

Through this new collection, I invite you to take the time to stop, observe and forget yourself for a moment. Take an innocent look at your surroundings and ask yourself what makes them interesting. I question our relationship with preciousness by offering different shades of gold that are unusual for us. From yellow to champagne gold, to gold covered with black rhodium plating, revealing only small sparkles of white, black and salt & pepper diamonds. Reminiscent of salt crystals lodged on ochre, grey and dark-coloured rock. Only wear and tear will reveal the gold hidden beneath this light black film.

The shapes flow over our earlobes like water trickling between pebbles.

Ultimately, Mute is a place that invites silence.
